I'm Stade.
My name is Tinuola Oyeniran but you can call me Stade.
I'm a portrait and personal branding photographer based in Lagos, Nigeria. More than portraits, I have experience in shooting products and events with more than 7 years experience being a freelance photographer and working with other photography brands while learning and growing at the same time.
Photography was discovered in me as a skill by my parents at the age of 16, got into a 1 month training at BNM institute in affiliation with National Open University Nigeria, 2013, which brought to me the theoretical knowledge about photography.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
Got my first Camera from my parents, a Nikon D3200, started photography in 2014 while I studied and that was when the name Stade came to be.
Photography moved from being a skill to a passion in 2016, that was the year I knew I was going to be living photography and also that was when I discovered my love for fashion and editorials.
Beautiful histories were made in the space of 1 year. One of it was working on a project with some other creative individuals called "Uniosun Street Fashion" we explored 3 campuses with this project, gathering models, fashion designers in those environment and capturing their images.
Finished my university education in 2017, took an opportunity to work and learn with a photography brand for some months in 2017/2018.
Started working full time with another brand in 2019 and through those years it has been a journey of making mistakes, learning and growing.
I currently run another photography brand as the lead photographer, I am proud of this especially because it is new brand I started working with to build and it has been a fantastic journey so far from 2021.
Photography is life
Photography to me is a form of art that I have my own unique expression to just as other photographers have their own unique expression. I have learnt to discover my own uniqueness and embrace it.
I am passionate about photography and it is the life I live. I live it to grow and explore it daily to the fullest.
More than photography I have embraced exploring cinematography also because I enjoy capturing motions and telling a story that captivates.
